With overwhelming support from Will County, suburban Cook County, and Chicago, we won with 87% of the vote in the Democratic Primary on March 20.
I want to thank everyone who played an important role in this victory, whether it was circulating petitions, ringing doorbells, handing out literature, putting up a sign, contributing money, or simply coming out to vote. I greatly appreciate your help.
I am continuing to work hard to be a leader who brings people together to solve problems and deliver results. Whether it is creating and maintaining American jobs, working to responsibly reduce the deficit, improving local roads and public transit, honoring our veterans, fighting for seniors, or helping our first responders, my fight never ends to improve our communities and our nation.
